شهدت مدينة كربلاء المقدسة كما في كل عام، إحياء شعيرة التشابيه الحسينية التي تستذكر ظلامات سيد الشهداء (عليه السلام)

وما جرى عليه وأهل بيته وأصحابه في واقعة الطفّ الأليمة.

وتعدّ التشابيه الحسينية من المظاهر والمراسيم التي اعتاد على إقامتها شيعة أهل البيت (عليهم السلام)

عبر مواكبهم الحسينية التي تجول شوارع المدينة المقدسة وتجتمع عند مرقد الإمام الحسين وأخيه أبي الفضل العباس (عليهما السلام).
