سامسونج تكشف عن “جالاكسي إس 5 و “جير 2 الربيع المقبل

تعتزم شركة “سامسونج” الكشف وطرح الجيل الخامس من سلسلة هواتف “جالاكسي إس” في الأسواق ما بين شهري مارس أو أبريل من العام المقبل 2014، حسبما أفادت مصادر مطلعة لموقع (etnews).

ونقل الموقع الكوري عن مصادره أن الشركة الكورية الجنوبية قد تقوم أيضًا بالكشف عن الجيل الثاني من ساعتها الذكية “جالاكسي جير” بالترافق مع هاتف “جالاكسي إس 5″، يأتي هذا بعد أعلنت “سامسونج” في 19 نوفمبر الجاري عن أنها تمكنت من “بيع” أكثر من 800 ألف وحدة من “جالاكسي جير”، وذلك بعد قرابة شهرين من إطلاقها.

وبحسب (etnews)، ستبدأ “سامسونج” بإنتاج هاتف “جالاكسي إس 5″ على نطاق واسع في يناير 2014، إذ إنه سيعمل بمعالج بمعمارية 64 بِت وسيحمل شاشة مرنة بقياس 5 بوصات من نوع “أولد” (OLED) مع كاميرا أمامية بدقة 2 ميجابكسل وخلفية بدقة 16 ميجابكسل وسيحمل بطارية كبيرة بسعة 4000 ميلي أمبير ساعي و 3 جيجابايت من ذاكرة الوصول العشوائي، وسيأتي بنسخة “أندرويد 4.4″ (كيت كات)، أما بالنسبة لساعة “جالاكسي جير” تشير التوقعات إلى أنها ستكون أنحف بنسبة 15 إلى 20%.

تجدر الإشارة إلى أن موقع (Nowhereelse.fr) الفرنسي كان قد نشر قبل أيام صورًا قال أنها تعود للإطار المعدني الداخلي الخاص بهاتف “جالاكسي إس 5″.

According to Korean media outlets citing sources inside Samsung, the Galaxy S5 will see its official announcement in January next year. The earlier than expected release is dictated by the disappointing sales of the Galaxy S4.

It appears that despite the excellent sales performance of the
flagship, Samsung is still not really pleased and think it could've done better. As a result, the company is pushing the Galaxy S5 release to mid-January, instead of March (http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_s_iv_goes_official_with_new_screen_ and_cpu-news-5702.php) as was the case this year and May as it was in 2012.


The actual market availability of the next Samsung flagship is tipped for February, which makes sense if the actual announcement is pulled for the start of the year.
As far as actual specifications of the Galaxy S5 are concerned, Samsung is expected to debut its 64-bit (http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_to_add_64bit_cpus_in_the_2014_flagships-news-6782.php)Exynos 5430 chip, which will feature 8 cores with Heterogeneous Multi-Processing capabilities (http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_announces_true_octacore_for_its_biglittle_ chip-news-6759.php).
The Samsung Galaxy S5 is tipped to boast an updated 16MP camera with enhanced low-light performance and optical image stabilization. Earlier, the company unveiled its ISOCELL image sensor, which is expected to debut on the upcoming flaghip.
All of the information above is nothing more than speculation and hasn't been confirmed by Samsung in any way. However, given that Samsung has pushed its last flagship 10 months after its predecessor, it won't be a surprise if we get another update just as quickly.
